What roles can accredited mediators take on in court-annexed mediation?

Accredited mediators can be appointed to mediation panels and receive case referrals from courts for civil, commercial, employment, land, and family disputes, helping to resolve these cases outside of formal litigation.

How are accredited mediators compensated for their services?

What legal protections do accredited mediators have?

Accredited mediators are protected by confidentiality laws, ensuring that statements made during mediation sessions cannot be used in court. They also have legal immunity from being sued for actions taken in their role, provided they acted in good faith and within their authority.

What professional development opportunities are available for accredited mediators?
